When photographing cars, the whole car is usually captured. I enjoy doing that too. But once you zoom in on the details, you see how much attention has also been paid to the small things — a gear knob, a horse on a grille, the badge on a wing.
This series consists of closeups of Ferraris, photographed both inside and out. The advantage of this kind of detail photography is that you are little troubled by other visitors — no people or crowds in the frame, just the car itself. Outside, it is always a challenge to get something good out of a day with bright sunlight.
The series shows various Ferraris, from models of the seventies and eighties to more recent examples.
